Shares of Cummins India fell by 5 per cent on Tuesday at the Bombay Stock Exchange after managing director Sandeep Sinha decided to step down from his managerial position "to pursue business interests outside of Cummins". "We wish to inform you that Mr. Sandeep Sinha shall cease to be the Managing Director, Director and Key Managerial Personnel of the Company with effect from closing business hours of August 16, 2019," the company said in a BSE filing. Following the update, shares of the company fell as much as 5 per cent in the intra-day trade at Rs 712.5 a piece on BSE. On NSE, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 740.00 apiece, down by 1.65 per cent . Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was at 39,020.83, up by 124.12 points or 0.32 per cent at 11:40 hours.
