Shares of Symphony nosedived over 10 per cent on the Bombay stock Exchange after the air cooler maker reported disappointing earnings for the first quarter ended June 30, 2017. The company has reported a 23.8 per cent fall in profit at Rs 24 crore in Q1 FY18, against Rs 31.6 crore in the same quarter last financial year. Weighed down by Q1, shares of the company declined as much as 10.19 per cent to hit intra-day low of Rs 1195.95 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The stocks were currently trading at Rs 1225.10 against previous close price of Rs 1331.75. In a similar fashion, shares of the company were trading 7.61 per cent lower at Rs 1,234.00 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 31,667.18, down 130.66 points, or 0.41 per cent, at 13:54 hours.
