After the political drama got underway in Goa as 10 out of 15 Congress Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) led by Leader of Opposition Chandrakant Kavlekar in the Assembly merged with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday. 10 Goa Congress MLAs that merged with BJP left for Delhi with Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today. While speaking to ANI, CM Pramod Sawant said, “We are taking the 10 Goa Congress MLAs that joined BJP, to Delhi to meet Amit Shah. There will be a meeting tomorrow and everything else will be decided there.” The Congress, which had emerged as a single-largest party after 2017 Assembly polls in Goa is now reduced to five legislators.
