Baroda BNP Paribas AMC announces appointment of CEO
Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management (AMC) has announced addendum to Statement of Additional Information (SAI) of Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund.
Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund has informed that, Sanjay Kumar Grover has ceased to be Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management India (AMC) with effect from the close of business hours of August 13, 2026. Grover shall continue to be an Associate Director on the Board of the AMC.
Further, the AMC has informed that Madhukumar Nair has been appointed as the CEO of the AMC with effect from August 14, 2026. Accordingly, following details of Madhukumar Nair as a Key personnel is included under Section ‘Information on Key Personnel of the AMC’:
Madhukumar Nair, (51), holds an Executive MBA from Harvard Business Schaool, an MBA - Finance from Pune University and a B.Sc. from Mumbai University. Nair is a seasoned asset management professional with over 28 years of experience, and has been responsible for driving strategy, innovation and operational excellence. In his prior role, he served as CEO of Union Asset Management Company from March 2024 to August 2026. Prior to that, he was with HSBC Asset Management (India) as Head – Institutional Sales from November 2022 to March 2024, and Chief Sal es & Distribution Officer from April 2017 to November 2022. He also served as Head - Retail Sales at Invesco Asset Management (India) from May 2013 to March 2017, wherein he was responsible for PAN -India retails sales business.
This Notice cum addendum forms an integral part of the SAI of the Fund read with the addenda issued thereunder. All other terms and conditions mentioned in the SAI remain unchanged.
