Indian benchmark indices on Friday's session opened on a positive note but traded within a narrow range throughout the session, reflecting a balancing act between supportive domestic factors and continued global uncertainties . Selective buying in key stocks helped the indices sustain their positive bias, although gains remained capped as investors stayed cautious amid elevated global risks .
* High crude oil prices, persistent geopolitical concerns in the Middle East, and elevated international bond yields continued to weigh on risk appetite . The recent efforts by the US Treasury to ease pressure on bond yields failed to provide lasting comfort, as rising crude prices and renewed inflation concerns remained key overhangs for global markets .
* At close, the Sensex gained 3.11points or 0 .00 % to settle at 77,540 .83 , while the Nifty 50 advanced 20 .15 points or 0 .08 % to close at 24 ,252 .00 .
