Quantum Mutual Fund Launches Quantum Flexi Cap Fund
Quantum Mutual Fund Launches Quantum Flexi Cap Fund

Quantum Mutual Fund today announced the launch of Quantum Flexi Cap Fund, an open ended dynamic equity scheme investing across large cap, mid cap,  small cap stocks. The New Fund Offer (NFO) opens on August 21, 2026, and closes on September 4, 2026. The scheme will re-open for continuous sale and repurchase on September 11, 2026.

The Quantum Flexi Cap Fund (the Fund) seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing across market capitalisations through a research-driven, bottom-up stock selection process. The Fund combines Quantum's long-standing disciplined investment philosophy with a Growth at a Reasonable Price (GARP) approach , enabling the investment team to dynamically allocate across large, mid and small cap companies based on growth opportunities and relative valuations.

The Fund's investment philosophy is centred on identifying Profit Pool Shifts—structural changes in how value and profits are distributed across an industry's value chain and capturing  it through flexibility. Rather than analysing sectors in isolation, Quantum's research framework evaluates how industry economics evolve and where profits are likely to migrate over time. Such shifts may be driven by disruption, consolidation, changing consumer preferences or regulatory developments, creating opportunities for businesses that are well positioned to benefit.

The investment process follows a disciplined bottom-up approach that evaluates business quality, management capability, sustainability of earnings and corporate governance before assessing valuations. The fund managers will seek businesses offering growth potential, sustainable business models and reasonable valuations, while maintaining a diversified portfolio across sectors and market capitalisations.

The Flexi Cap Fund category provides the flexibility to capture these opportunities wherever they emerge across  large cap, mid cap or small cap companies . Guided by a Growth at a Reasonable Price (GARP) investment approach, the fund aims to invest in companies at favourable inflection points, backed by strong governance, sustainable earnings growth, healthy balance sheets and reasonable valuations, while reducing exposure when valuations reflect excessive optimism.

The fund will be managed by Mr. Chirag Mehta, Chief Investment Officer, along with Mr. Ketan Gujarathi, Fund Manager – Equity.

Commenting on the launch, Chirag Mehata, CIO & Fund Manager of this fund said, “India is witnessing multiple structural transformations driven by rising aspirations, formalisation of the economy, technological disruption, policy reforms and changing consumer preferences. These trends are continuously reshaping industry profit pools and creating new investment opportunities. The  Fund is designed to identify such structural shifts through  fundamental research and invest in high-quality businesses available at reasonable valuations. Our objective is to build a diversified portfolio that can compound wealth over the long term while remaining true to Quantum's disciplined investment philosophy."

Seemant Shukla, Chief Executive Officer of Quantum AMC, added, "Quantum has always prioritized capability over frequency when it comes to product launches. We do not bring NFOs to market very often; we ensure our investment capabilities are fully developed first. Coming  nearly 2 years after our last NFO launch, this Fund is designed to deliver meaningful value to our investors' portfolios. Beyond product expansion, this NFO  plays a vital role in increasing our footprint and accelerating our efforts to strengthen our distribution ecosystem."
