Vested crosses $1B AUA milestone in global investing adoption
Vested Finance, a leading global investing platform for Indian investors, has crossed $1 billion in Assets Under Administration (AUA), marking a key milestone in the adoption of global investing among Indian investors living across the world
The $1 billion AUA reflects cumulative investments made by users across four asset classes offered by Vested: U.S. stocks and ETFs, Global Funds, Private Market opportunities, and Managed Portfolios. While U.S. equities continue to form the core of investor allocations, newer categories such as Managed Portfolios, Private Market opportunities, and Global Funds are increasingly becoming meaningful contributors to the overall mix.
The milestone also signals a broader behavioural shift.
Global investing is moving from being a niche idea to becoming a more considered part of long-term portfolio construction for Indian investors. Participation is being driven not just by return-seeking but by the need for diversification across geographies, sectors, and currencies.
Vested has built proprietary infrastructure across cross-border money movement, currency conversion, and tax documentation to simplify global investing for its customers.
Important numbers by Vertical
* U.S. Stocks & ETFs: Continue to account for the largest share of AUA, with over 90% of users investing in direct equities and ETFs
* Global Funds: Access to internationally domiciled mutual funds across 50+ countries, with close to 2% of investors starting their journey here
* Private Markets: Pre-IPO and late-stage private company opportunities, currently used by a small but growing segment of users (under 1%)
* Managed Portfolios: Curated baskets of global stocks and ETFs managed by Vested’s research team, contributing close to 5% of total AUA
“This milestone is meaningful for what it represents,” said Viram Shah, Founder and CEO, Vested Finance. “When we started, we had to build for a category that did not exist in a structured way. From cross-border money movement to tax reporting, and most importantly, earning customer trust. What we are seeing now is more investors taking that first step towards global investing and staying invested over time. It has also been exciting to see not just Indians living in India, but Indians living across 50+ countries utilise the Vested application for cross-border diversification.”
Vested’s journey to $1 billion AUA has been shaped by a global trend that is seeing more and more investors invest beyond borders. Increased access, better awareness, technological advancements and a growing focus on long-term diversification have contributed to this shift
The company continues to expand its product offerings and educational initiatives as it looks to support the next phase of global investing adoption from India.
